VUCA is an acronym to describe or to reflect on the volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity of general conditions and situations. Agile project management

In the early 1990s “Agile” originated as an alternative method for project management among a group of disgruntled programmers. The Agile approach is based on a new approach to project management: agilelists assume that it is very difficult, if not impossible, to summarize a project in a good (and lengthy) plan and design beforehand, as done in the traditional project management methods (also known as waterfall approach). With the traditional approach schedules of time, money and project results will always turn out differently than conceptualized in the plan. Then why spend so much time writing a project plan if it doesn't work out anyway? Agile projects follow a different approach with the project timeline divided into a number of short iterations of, for example, 2 or 3 weeks.
