Yvonne Looije, coach and founder of MaXXYou, supports your wish to create clever habits. She has build up her expertise around that and is able on this basis to challenge these habits, routines and rituals. Why not accept such a challenge we by changing unhelpful habits & daily routines and turning them into helpful habits, routines and rituals you might just change your life for the better.
Considering habits, routines and rituals, habits are the least conscious modes of behavior of the three. People seldom think about the things they do habitually. Only when they feel that these habits hinder them, for example their health, prosperity or freedom, people start to consider these habits and consider changing them.
Habits are behavior patterns in our everyday lives. For example a habit to take the car to work, and not a train or bicycle. A habit to drink coffee with your breakfast and to eat oatmeal for breakfast. These examples are rather harmless habits, but what to do when a habit becomes harmful or proves to be not helpful in reaching a goal? Yvonne Looije knows just how to challenge unhelpful habits and help you nourish helpful habits into fruition.
Routines are somewhat more intentional than habits, and people are therefore more conscious of these modes of behavior. An example of a routine is an end-of-the-workday routine, when a person logs out and closes several applications, turns of their computer, puts their coffee cup and water glass into the dishwasher, stores some files and greets their co-workers in the same order and pace every day. Again this example is hardly a harmful routine. Nevertheless plenty of routines can be harmful or unhelpful. If you are a client of MaXXYou, Yvonne Looije will explore these routines with you and help you either create clever habits and helpful routines or change unhelpful routines or do both.
Rituals are the most intentional modes of behavior of the three. A ritual is a sequence of actions in a specific order and in a specific place. It is a formal practice determined by custom. It is a procedure comprised of a series of actions in which there is room for little changes as to the sequence or execution. Many rituals have a cultural, religious or social meaning, and are an act in which a certain social identity is acquired or confirmed. Creating new private rituals can however be very useful in creating helpful selfcare. Selfcare comes in many different shapes. It focusses on being good, forgiving, graceful and loving toward yourself, your life and body. It leans on the premise that in doing this this will help you improve the quality of your life in many facets.
