My First Blog – The one Habit I got from my dad (sorry dad)

Putting a spell on me…

In my teenage years, my dad took me sometimes to a city where he needed to be for work. We then sometimes had lunch together. For the remaining I was on my own, exploring the city. Pretty cool, huh? I clearly remember the drive in his car and what always comes to mind first (sorry dad) is the constant rush he was in. When reflecting on that now, it still feels like he was always stressed out.

A couple of years ago I started to notice that I was doing the same. In a wider context: I was rushing through life. Cause most of the time I was focusing on something in the future, my eyes on the ball. Reflection brought me to the conclusion that I was definitely mostly living in the future and not in the present, and very often rushing. I intended to do something about that!

Research in psychology shows that it is actually people’s unthinking routines—or habits—that form the bedrock of everyday life and with that the quality of your life.

Exactly this is why I belief that clever habits & daily routines are powerful ingredients for a well lived life.
To bring these into your life is not easy but can be done with intention and effort – For Greater Well-Being!
